Life Connection Center is a small community soup kitchen and homeless outreach center kitchen located on Appleton Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. Through small acts of kindness, a smile and a hot meal, Life Connection Center has established a place of hope in Lowell, Massachusetts. We believe that food brings people together, it can aid in relationship building and can truly be the medicine we all need. Currently, Life Connection Center is providing meals to over 500 men and women each week. Guests enjoy a complimentary highly nutritious meal, develop healthy friendships and access other services as needed such as overdose education, individual counseling, nutrition education, HIV testing, wellness checks, clean syringe exchange/access, and referral to various medical and social service providers. We also have a great focus on encouraging the process of recovery. We are dedicated to provide a place of love, faith, and support and family for individuals struggling with opioid addiction, those living in early recovery and we establishing relationships with persons still living in active addiction. Our doors are open for a hot meal, conversation and a helping hand, no matter what's going on. |
